A well-established food distributor specializing in supplying quality food products and related items to the hospitality and catering industry is looking for a dynamic Telesales Representative to join their team in Cape Town. The company provides a range of products, including groceries, frozen foods, perishables, hygiene products, and packaging materials to clients across the Western Cape.Job Summary:The Telesales Representative will be responsible for driving sales, maintaining customer relationships, and growing the client base through proactive outbound calls. The ideal candidate is a target-driven individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for the food and hospitality industry.Key Responsibilities:

• Make outbound calls to existing and potential customers to promote and sell food products.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding their needs and recommending suitable products.
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the hospitality and catering industry.
• Process customer orders efficiently and ensure timely follow-ups.
• Achieve and exceed weekly and monthly sales targets.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales, and feedback.
• Work closely with the sales and procurement teams to ensure product availability and customer satisfaction.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and new product offerings.

• Proven experience in telesales, sales, or customer service, preferably in the food, FMCG, or hospitality industry.
• Strong negotiation and persuasive selling skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to handle objections and close sales confidently.
• A self-motivated and target-driven mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
