New vacancy is available for a Temporary Vehicle Electronics Planner in the Production department for our client in the Automotive Industry, based in Kariega Eastern Cape.Temp role +/- 3 years contractThe Pilot Hall Vehicle Electronics team seeks a candidate responsible for managing and implementing special projects, processes, and engineering changes related to vehicle electronics.The role involves planning and coordinating tasks related to vehicle electrics/electronics, evaluating engineering changes using group systems, and participating in meetings to manage project timelines and address potential delays in the implementation phase.The candidate will also source technical product information to support new technologies and process optimizations.Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate deliverables associated with vehicle electrics/electronics changes.
• Evaluate and manage engineering changes to ensure compliance and buildability.
• Participate in local and group meetings to oversee project timelines and prevent issues.
• Source technical information to support process optimizations and prevent production interruptions.
• Liaise with international counterparts on quality and process standards.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or higher in electrical engineering (excluding heavy current) or mechatronics.
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience; 1 year in vehicle manufacturing focused on electrics/electronics.

Essential Skills:

• Strong problem-solving abilities and self-motivation.
• Collaborative team player with leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and MS Teams.
• Experience in coaching/training.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of vehicle electric/electronic systems.
• Intermediate understanding of the German language.
• Project management training or courses.
