Job Description

Are you an expert in managing tender processes and ready to play a key role in the growth of our business? We are looking for a detail-oriented Tender Specialist to join our team, focused on the exciting and dynamic field of water treatment projects.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire tender processxe2x80x94from identifying opportunities to submission and follow-up. Youll leverage your deep understanding of technical specifications and cost estimation to formulate competitive and accurate tender bids, ensuring we stay ahead of the competition.

• Identify and evaluate potential tender opportunities within the water treatment sector.
• Review and interpret the tender document.
• Ensuring compliance with all tender requirements and deadlines.
• Developing technical proposals and methodologies.
• Formulation of costings and costing templates / BOQ based on technical information and plant assessments.
• Obtaining required quotations and specification to populate costings and BOQs.
• Liaising with relevant internal departments to obtain required information to ensure the costings accuracy and component specifications
• Research equipment and products specifications and pricing for plant / system optimisation
• Contribute to the development and improvement of tender processes and templates
• Creating a costing and specification library
• Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements: Qualification and Skill:

• Must have a Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Quantity Surveying diploma or a related field
• At least 3-4 years of relevant experience in the water treatment industry
• Strong computer literacy - Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Working proficiency in English
• Additional languages are a plus
• Experience in the manufacturing and fabrication environment is a plus.
