The Medical Device Sales Representatives are responsible for a set territory in which they sell a variety of medical products into the healthcare industry.
Responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through to closing the sale in an assigned territory.
Develops and implements agreed upon marketing plan which will meet both personal and business goals of expanding customer base in the marketing area.
Works within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values.

Incumbent may be required to attend to any other tasks if and when requested to do so by management.

Position displays a relatively high degree of independent decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Medical Device Sales Representatives are primarily responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with customers and the sale of products.
Achievement of sales target set.
Increase current support base and market share.
Conducting of demos in theatre with Capital Equipment as well as Disposable products.
Increase equipment installed base.
Consignment management.
Weekly and Monthly reports

Key Performance Indicators:
You will be evaluated on all aspects of your work, and specifically the following elements:
Achievement of Sales Targets on a Monthly, Quarterly and Annual basis (60%)
You are required to make customer calls and attend to other sales activities in accordance with norms and standards set by your line manager. For instance, weekly doctor call rate, Ward in-service training rate etc. as the case may be (20%)
Planning and reporting - Weekly according to the established system in place (15%)
Participation in company events and meetings as required by the company from time to time (5%)
From time to time, the employee will be reasonably required to perform tasks and duties beyond that outlined in the document. The employee is expected to follow these instructions as if they were part of this job description if the instructions are consistent with company policy, legal and within their level of competence.

Minimum (required) - Medical-related degree or tertiary qualification
Experience
Minimum (required) - 2+ years' experience with surgical support / sales / marketing of products
