Role PurposeManage, monitor and control the analysis, design, implementation, execution, documentation and reporting on test cases and test procedures to deliver quality software and services, according to system architecture design.
RequirementsFormal qualifications

  • B degree in IT or related relevant qualification (Essential)
Specific licensing or registration
  • International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) certification (Desirable)

Duties & ResponsibilitiesINTERNAL PROCESS
  • Manage, monitor and control the analysis, design, implementation and execution of test cases, test procedures and test suites.
  • Manage the testing schedule and monitor, measure, control and report on the test progress including the quality status and the test results. Adapt test plans as required, based on evolving conditions and business requirements.
  • Analyse the test processes and identify opportunities for test automation to create efficiencies.
  • Manage the delivery of test automation including planning, engaging with developers and training as and when needed.
  • Contribute to the development of a best practice integrated testing and quality management approach and strategy.
  • Ensure the test environment is suitable before test execution and managed during test execution. Manage the documenting and resolution of system defects and raise issues with the development team where necessary.
  • Facilitate regression testing and coordinate which test cases are suitable for this and and when needed.
  • Provide relevant stakeholders with regular feedback during the testing process to ensure all parties remain up-to-date.
  • Manage the delivery of summary reports on test status during test execution and support the project close out.
  • Review and quality assure deliverables in order to ensure quality standards are upheld.
  • Manage and coordinate UAT testing deliverables to produce solutions that meet business priorities and timeframes.
  • Represent the UAT testing team in management, business and inter-team meetings, such as Change Advisory Board (CAB).
