Job Description
Job Title: Tester
Assist in all mechanical and electrical testing of equipment leaving the factory or being installed on site. (Checking that the correct material has been installed as per specification, this will include wiring colors and sizes.)
Assist in making sure that the Quality Assurance documents are up to date per projects and filed.
Marked up drawings to be handed over and corrected to "As Built Drawings".
General Quality Control in the factory. (Checking that the contractors and employees are using the correct tools per project, touching up of punch list items and checking of factory tools)
Training:
Supervise all new and existing electrical apprentices that completed their work-based training at Low Voltage Switchboards (Pty) Ltd.
Sign-off all electrical apprentice logbooks and training activities related to work-based training.
Qualifications:
N2 Electrician (Minimum)
N6 Electrical Engineering Wiremen's Licence COC Qualification
Experience:
3 Years
Training:
Motor Starters Electrical Components Switchgear Being able to read and understand a single line diagram and electrical drawings.
