In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing both manual and automated test cases to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications. Must have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, and a keen eye for detail. Youll collaborate closely with developers and product teams to identify bugs, validate fixes, and enhance testing processes.xc3x82What youll do:

• Review and analyse functional and non-functional requirements specifications to provide feedback and ensure requirements are stable.xc3x82
• Must have extensive knowledge and experience of all testing done under Functional and Nonfunctional testing.xc3x82
• Design and develop manual and automated test scripts using testing tools and frameworks.xc3x82
• Execute tests, analyse results, and provide reports on software quality and associated risk.xc3x82
• Create test plans and test cases per documented requirements.xc3x82
• Participate in constructive peer review of test cases.xc3x82
• Execute functional test cases to ensure the system is robust and fit for purpose.xc3x82
• Write test summary reports document.xc3x82
• Help facilitate execution of acceptance test scripts by end users.xc3x82
• Attend regular project meetings (daily stand-ups)xc3x82
• Work closely with developers and end users throughout the software life cycle to ensure that applications meet the needs of the users.xc3x82
• Contribute to enhancing the existing automation framework for efficiency and effectiveness.xc3x82
• Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure defect-free releases.xc3x82
• Report defects and work with the development team toward resolution of the defects;xc3x82
• Manage the defect tracking and resolution process.xc3x82
• Stay updated on new testing tools and test strategies and implement these learnings as appropriate.

Your expertise:

• Intermediate/ Senior (5+ years experience)
• Technologies and tools required:

• Selenium, Java, SQL, Postman/ SOAP UI, Rest Assured, Test Management Tools, Jira, Agile, IDEs, etc.xc3x82

Qualifications:

• Matric
• Relevant IT/ Testing Qualification
• ISTQB
