Job Description

We are seeking a

Tiling Specialist

with expertise in the installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of tiles. The ideal candidate will be experienced in all aspects of tiling, including surface preparation, tile cutting, grout application, and finishing, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality work and customer satisfaction.

Tile Installation:

Install tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces according to design plans and customer requirements.

Surface Preparation:

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying appropriate adhesives or underlayment before tiling.

Tile Cutting:

Measure and cut tiles to fit spaces, corners, and edges using precision cutting tools.

Grouting and Sealing:

Apply grout and sealant to tiles for both functionality and aesthetic appearance.

Layout Design:

Follow specified layout patterns (e.g., straight, diagonal, herringbone) for tile installation.

Repairs:

Replace damaged tiles, ensuring seamless repair work that matches existing tile patterns and style.

Tile Maintenance:

Perform maintenance on tiles, including cleaning and resealing, to ensure longevity and a pristine look.

Client Communication:

Advise clients on tile choices, designs, and care instructions to meet their needs and preferences.

Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in

tiling installation

for floors, walls, and other surfaces. Proficient with various types of tiles (ceramic, porcelain, marble, mosaic, etc.). Ability to accurately measure, cut, and lay tiles for a clean, level finish. Strong knowledge of grouting, sealing, and finishing processes. Ability to work with a range of tiling tools, including tile cutters, trowels, and spacers. Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship. Strong problem-solving skills to overcome challenges during tile installation or repair. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Valid driver's license (if applicable).
