Touring Financial Accountant

A company with lodges throughout Southern and East Africa is looking for a Touring Financial Accountant with a Bachelors in Finance or Accounting with minimum of 3 years experience in General Ledger, Journals and Bank Reconciliation, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and reporting in multiple currencies. Based in Sandton.Experience required:Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accounting or similarMust be proficient with MS Office Packages and extensive knowledge of ExcelKnowledge of Tourplan is advantageousA minimum of 3 years experience in General Ledger, Journals and Bank Reconciliation, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and reporting in multiple currenciesDuties include:Financial ReportingBudgetsForecastingAudit - prepare all information for audit timeously to ensure audit commencement deadlines are metManagement of Sales incentives AuditsReview and maintain accounting policies and proceduresInvestigate and report variances and implement controlsBank: daily allocation and monthly reconciliations of foreign currency bank accountsBank: releasing of supplier paymentsCredit Cards: management and reconciliations of credit cardsEnsure timeous Payments to Foreign SuppliersEnsure Online Suppliers payments are released timeouslyReview Balance Sheet reconciliations
