Job Summary Our client in Dubai is seeking a Tower Crane Operator who is prepared to relocate and become part of their dynamic team.Applicants from Northern Cape, Mpumalanga, Kwa-Zulu Natal (Durban) and Limpopo are encouraged to apply.Requirements:

  • A valid crane operator's certificate or license.
  • 3-5 years experience operating tower cranes or similar equipment.
  • Completion of relevant safety training courses.
  • Proficiency in operating tower cranes and understanding of crane controls and machinery.
  • Must have a valid passport.
Responsibilities
  • Operate tower cranes safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Conduct pre-operation inspections of the crane to ensure it is in good working condition and report any faults or issues.
  • Collaborate with site managers and other construction personnel to plan lifting operations and ensure effective communication during manoeuvres.
  • Position loads accurately and monitor the lifting process to prevent accidents and ensure materials are delivered to the correct locations.
  • Maintain accurate records of operations, including loads lifted, hours worked, and any incidents or near misses.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with site safety standards and procedures.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the crane, as well as report any maintenance needs to supervisors.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and advancements in crane operation and safety.
