Key purpose of the role

The Trade Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the trade marketing team in the planning, execution, and analysis of marketing campaigns.

This role requires strong organisational skills, creativity, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The Trade Marketing Coordinator will work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and partners to ensure the success of marketing initiatives.

Key outputs/ accountability



Marketing and Events

Assist in the development and implementation of Trade Marketing campaigns and coordinating events, including design briefings and supplier negotiations.

Manage communications with the sales team, internal stakeholders for campaigns, events, and newsletters.

Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and opportunities.

Update content across digital platforms, ensuring relevance and compliance.

Manage the marketing calendar and ensure timely follow-ups

Administration and Reporting

Maintain accurate databases for suppliers, and clients.

Compile reports and actionable insights for marketing initiatives.

Ensure all documentation, budget tracker, and payments are processed efficiently and meets compliance standards.

Team Collaboration

Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to optimise operations

Support the marketing team in achieving overall objectives, including after-hours events.



Minimum required qualification:



Diploma or degree in marketing, business or related field.



Qualifications considered advantageous:



Experience with design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is advantageous.



Minimum years of experience:



1-3 years in a Marketing or related role.



Additional role requirements:



Proficiency in Office 365, Excel, project management, communication, and customer relations skills.

Valid driver's license and flexibility to work weekends or after hours as required.

Strong negotiation and stakeholder relationship skills.

Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.

Team player with a proactive attitude.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of current marketing trends and best practices.
