Job Description
One of the TOP banks in S.A. is looking for a strong customer orientated individual from the banking sector to work as a Reconciliation Officer on a 6-month contract.
Responsibilities:
- Risk management
- Post settlement cash recons
- Investigation of outstanding cash items
- Resolve queries within deadline timeframe
- Drafting reports
- Offer excellent customer service experience
- Bond position checks for Africa region
- Variation margin checks
- Attend to derivative recon inbox
- Matric
- PLUS: SAFEX or BComm degree IN Financial markets
- No less than 2 years' working experience within the bank
- Must have knowledge of domestic treasury, foreign exchange, SWIFT, derivative product, stormq, intellimatch, murex core, global prime, Plato, Excel and business online
- Excellent English communication - written and verbal
- Accuracy
- Analytical
- Adaptable
- Deadline driven
- Computer literate
- Clear ITC (Credit) and clear criminal record
- Available to start immediately
