Job Description
Investment team seeks a Trade Settlement Assistant to join their team. This team offers their clients a comprehensive range of financial investment and planning solutions. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity within the investment administration team of an established team and is suited to a recent accounting graduate with an interest in an opportunity within financial services.Responsibilities:
- Place trade of shares with brokers and manage cash flow
- Open script accounts
- Process script transfers (equity assets/ take-ons)
- Process dematerialisation of share certificates, maintain correct CGT values
- Process dividends and ensure variances reconciled and resolved
- Prepare and collate daily and monthly payments, ensure authorisation
- Support for colleagues, as required
- Minimum of a completed BCom Accounting or similar qualification
- Previous experience in a similar role would be preferable
- Must be computer literate, with a good level of MS Excel skills (Intermediate)
- Deadline driven and good team player
- Highly numerate with a keen eye for detail
- Able to work extra time over quarter end as required
