Trade Tested Turner - PaarlFull job descriptionA well-known company within the agricultural industry based in the Paarl, is seeking the services of a well experienced Trade Tested Turner. You will be responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and repairing mechanical parts, components, and equipment such as gearboxes and conveyor belts. We are looking to employ a hard-working and skilled Artisan to turn and assemble various mechanical components. The successful candidate will also have a minimum of 2 - 3 years experience.You will be responsible for the following but not limited to:Ensure that repair maintenance is carried out and all mechanical presses and hydraulic installations are maintained as per manufacturers standardsPlanning to schedule, reporting, inspection and repairing is carried outPerform all relevant statutory checks as requiredImprove versatility, problem solving and troubleshooting on all equipmentHave sound knowledge of engineering and plant equipment, i.e. Compressors, Conveyors, Pumps, Hydraulic Presses, Cropping Machine & GrindersPrecision turning & millingRepairs and manufacturing of industrial machineryEducation & ExperienceGrade 12 with N3 and Trade Test - Fitter & Turner or equivalentRed Seal will be advBe a qualified artisan, Fitter coupled with 3 years industry & TurningSkillsHands on individualBe confident and assertiveWork overtime as required and perform standbyBe able to work under pressureStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication, time management, and organizational skillsExcellent attention to detailTroubleshooting skillsExceptional mechanical skillsIf you are interested in this opportunity, apply with your most recent resume & supporting documents.Please note should you not receive a response from us within 7 working days; kindly consider your application unsuccessful.
