About OlamOlam Agri supplies food, feed and fibre to meet rising demand and a shift to protein-based diets, particularly in Asian and African countries. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a big impact to our Trading team by driving revenue and developing key markets in south and east Africa markets.Key Deliverables

• Responsible for the physical trading of relevant softs/ags/biofuels products across markets" to "Edible Oils (Palm Oil / Soybean Oil / Sunflower Oil) products across South and East Africa markets
• Targeting and developing new markets for potential business and expanding network of suppliers and customers
• Keep up to date with market intelligence, price changes and supply and demand models through monitoring trends and market conditions to help identify new business opportunities
• Working closely with supporting teams in operations and shipping to ensure excellent supply chain management and delivery of products
• Build new and maintain existing relationships with suppliers and customers in relevant markets

Requirements

• 7+ years' experience in physical trading of relevant softs/ags/biofuels products across markets
• Proven track record of consistently delivering positive P&L.
• Strong knowledge of softs/ags markets and insights in the supply and demand dynamics
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
