Proven experience as corporate trainer or similar role;
Good understanding of various teaching methodologies and tools;
Qualification in training such as a SETA Accredited Facilitator Training Course - SAQA US: 117871.
Training qualification accredited by the EDTP SETA;
Fully fluent in English and Tswana;
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written;
Duties and responsibilities:
Administer training for designated learner groups with the ability to deliver, project and motivate learners through effective training methodologies both in group and individual classroom dynamics.
Collaborate with trainers and Manager to create specific course content.
Evaluate success of training implementation by assessing achievement of learning objectives and transfer of knowledge to continuously improve training solutions and identify future learning needs.
Manage the learning experience consistent with the training facilities philosophy and strategy.
Identifying areas of improvement and opportunities for learners.
Evaluate the existing skills of learners and attend to their learning challenges.
Consult with other trainers, managers, and leadership structures within the Center.
Test and review created training materials.
Manage learner attendance and other records.
Prepare training area before a training session and keep them properly set up.
Plan for, deliver and review training sessions.
Train the facilities courses systematically, to ensure that the learners receive the course content correctly and accurately.
Ensure that all assessments are conducted correctly, using the prescribed Center resources.
Provide current course information to learners.
Liaising with the Front Desk Administrators to ensure all record keeping of course material and results are captured and accurate.
Maintaining confidentiality of learners and records.
Using appropriate training methodologies.
Ensuring that center policies and procedures are always adhered to.
Accurately and correctly complete the daily Lesson Feedback Reports, to send to the relevant Center Manager after each training session.
Conduct revision classes.
Work independently and as a team member.
Identifying and reporting errors found in training material.
Handle challenging situations accurately and reporting them to the Center Manager, immediately.
Train inclusively, especially regarding learners with disabilities.
Provide a safe and fair learning environment.
Conduct daily feedback sessions and weekly meetings with the Center Manager, to discuss all training related concerns.
Prepare all pre and post documentation related to the Centers training courses.
Develop, maintain, and encourage continuous transparent communication.
Make decisions that are financially responsible, accountable, justifiable, and defensible in accordance with the Centers policies and procedures.
Communicate regularly with the other facilities Trainers.
Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
