Improve the world and start as a Training Administrator at Vopak.What will you do as a Training Administrator?The Training Administrator will be required to maintain Training Management System in line with Corporate standards, Vopaks job profile, regulatory requirements and best practices. This includes the development of the training schedule, undertaking coordination of and Implementation of training schedules for internal and external training for staff and Vopak Learners. Record keeping and reporting forms primary responsibility of this position.What do we offer you?

What do we expect from you as a Training Administrator?
  • A NQF 6 Diploma or higher in HR or ODETDP
  • 3 - 5 Year's relevant experience in Training and Skills Development administration
  • Ability to train individuals or group of people and assess knowledge and skills will be an advantage
  • Code 08 drivers license will be an advantage
What does your day look like?Some of the operational elements of the Training Administrator includes:
  • Uphold the requirement of the Vopak training matrix, when developing training schedules for the Learners.
  • Liaise directly with nominated external providers for the implementation of the planned training.
  • Facilitate the transportation of the learners to and from the training venues if outside the terminal.
  • Ensure resources (time, Facilitator and venue) are available if training is to be convened internally.
  • Assist the facilitator in marking of scripts where learners had to undergo hard copy assessments and keep accurate record thereafter.

  • Assist the Training and Development Manager for administration requirements of the WSP/ATR, Mandatory and Discretionary grants applications.
  • Register the learners with the SETA (CHIETA) for all the registered Learnership programs, as may be identified by Vopak Management.
  • Consolidate training requirements and prepare company training plan
  • Take responsibility of identifying & reporting to Training Officer and Training and Development Manager of any deviations to the planned program or concerns that might be raised by Learners during the Learnership program.
  • Develop training schedules for the Learners and liaise with Line Managers at least two weeks in advance for the release of nominated staff to attend the planned training.
  • Responsible for administration of the skills development element on BBBEE reporting
  • Competence task book administration and recording
  • Monthly training hours tracking and reporting
  • Online and on-site walk Induction administration & access Control
  • Process requisitions and payments of training suppliers
  • Update monthly training records which includes training hours, training events etc.
  • Maintain a proper filing system of training records which includes learning management system updates
  • Provide coordination support for CSI and diversity programs and events
