PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Coordinate and deliver training at KTD Community Training Centre, Mooinooi

BALANCED SCORECARD PILLARS, ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

SAFETY, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT AND QUALITY

  • Identify and assess level of continuous risk exposures in area of responsibility by considering exposures to business, financial, legal issues, people, equipment, material, environment, processes, etc.
  • Consider the level of risk, apply mitigation and implement control measures for residual risk (set objectives, minimum requirements, etc.)
  • Comply with SHEQ requirements (SHEQ Toolbox)
  • Utilise the Integrated Management System (IMS) to initiate, investigate and report SHEQ status us.
PEOPLE
  • Coordinate and manage Training staff and learners.
  • Manage performance against set targets and competencies.
  • Ensure IDPs are linked to performance results and implemented as per plan.
  • Ensure discipline is maintained (timekeeping, misconduct, absenteeism, etc.)
  • Couch and counsel people to ensure improved performance levels
CUSTOMERS
  • Ensure Customer Satisfaction
BUSINESS PROCESSES
  • Coordinate training compliance of the Khuphuka Community training Centre, Mooinooi
  • Assist with accreditation of training areas when required
  • Manage maintenance of all training facilities
  • Maintain applicable procedures for processes in area of responsibility
  • Maintain BLRA for all equipment and processes at the Community Training centre
  • Coordinate customisation of training material to Khuphuka and SETA requirements
  • Manage and maintain activities and equipment at training centre
  • Ensure Khuphuka community training centre complies with all relevant standards and SETA requirements
  • Manage procurement process for all training material, equipment needed
  • Assist with budget inputs
  • Ensure learners POEs are compiled and moderated
  • Supervise administration functions.
  • Assist with learner selection and registration process.
  • Ensure learner reports are updated.
  • Manage Artisan Aider practical training process.
  • Manage IMS system.
  • Attend Audits
  • Ensure monthly Safety meetings are conducted and recorded.
  • Ensure quarterly safety drills are done and recorded.
  • Ensure training projects are completed within specific timeframe.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications
  • National Diploma in OTDP / Human Resources
  • Trade certificate
