Training And Development Specialist

Job Description


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular training needs analyses to identify skill gaps.
  • Design, manage, and implement innovative training programs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to create impactful training materials, including presentations and videos.
  • Track training attendance and evaluate program effectiveness through metrics and assessments.
  • Lead induction training for new employees and co-develop WSP and ATR submissions.
About you:
  • A motivated individual with a talent for creating high-quality training materials.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Experience in the insurance or financial industry (3-5 years) is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of legislation affecting Financial Services Providers and the Skills Development Act.
  • Facilitation experience and ability to engage with audiences at all levels.
Qualifications:
  • Relevant diploma or degree.
  • RE1/RE5 certification is highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint.
  • Bilingual communication skills are a plus.
