Job Description


Key Responsibilities:Training & Development:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor training programs for employees in compliance with food safety, GMP, and hygiene standards.
  • Conduct training sessions on workplace safety, food safety, and best practices to enhance production efficiency.
  • Identify skills gaps and provide recommendations for continuous improvement in training programs.
  • Maintain training records and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Assist with on-the-job coaching and mentorship to enhance workforce competency.
Human Resources Support:
  • Assist in the development and execution of HR policies and procedures in line with company objectives.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes for new employees.
  • Manage employee relations and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Facilitate performance management and employee development initiatives.
  • Handle disciplinary and grievance procedures where necessary.
Key Requirements:Experience:
  • 5-10 years of experience as an HR professional within a food manufacturing or production environment.
Qualifications:
  • Must be a qualified Skills Development Facilitator (SDF).
  • Or a Human Resources Qualification of at least a Diploma in Human Resources Management.
Technical Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices, GMP, and hygiene standards.
Soft Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High energy levels, reliability, and a target-driven approach.
  • Ability to motivate and influence others positively.
Work Conditions:
  • Must be flexible with work hours, including early starts and shift work.
  • Must be willing to work long hours as required by operational demands.
  • Must have own reliable transport.
Competencies:
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on compliance and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
