Description:RedCat Recruitment is seeking a TRAINING OFFICER (RETAIL INDUSTRY) for a well-established concern, position based in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.REQUIREMENTSGrade 12.Valid drivers license / own reliable transport.Diploma in Human Resources Management or equivalent. Qualified SDF would be advantageous!Competent computer skills (Email / Microsoft Office).5yrs+ retail at managerial level experience in similar position.Preparation and submission of the WSP and ATR.Conduct skills gap analysis to identify training needs across the board whilst also identify potential training courses and training providers.Draw up yearly training plans for each staff member whilst maintaining a database of skills and competence of employees.Develop technical training / training material.Assist in the preparation and processing of employment equity reports ensuring that training is aligned to both equity and skills development.Sit in on the EE & SD committee.Recommend, control, and organize learnerships to ensure maximum return on SETA funding.Conduct health and safety induction programs to new candidates.Ensure effective training programmes and manuals developed for POS and stock systems.Strong focus on merchandising methods, incorporating visual and ease of access, including promotions and gondoliers.Management training developed and all managers and successors trained effectively.Assume responsibility for cross-functional tasks.Travel to various retail store branches to provide training and services throughout the region and conduct audits on training requirements.Salary package offered: - To be discussedPLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU HAVE THE RELEVANT EXPERIENCE / ONLY SUITABLE CANDIDATES WILL BE CONTACTED.IMPORTANTPLEASE APPLY FOR THIS POSITION VIA OUR WEBSITE (WWW.REDCATRECRUITMENT.CO.ZA)
