Training Practitioner (Dairy- and Manufacturing Related Trainer)

Facilitate training interventions and do formal assessments and workplace observations as required to establish learner competence. Report to Head of Department on a regular basis with regards to progress on training delivery. Administrative responsibility includes record-keeping of training delivered, completion of assessment guides and tools, learner enrolments, learnership contracts. Participate and work with teams on special projects identified. Promote the company's course prospectus, offer client service and successfully manage the client training project within the targeted parameters.

Location:

• Eastern Cape (Humansdorp)

• 3 or 4 year tertiary qualification in Food Science or Technology or similar
• Registered assessor (US 11573 Conduct outcomes-based assessments) or NQF 5 ODETDP will be an added advantage.

• A minimum of 3 - 5 Years experience in a FMCG Food and Beverages Manufacturing Operational environment and/or suitable training and/or facilitation experience.
• Dairy product manufacturing experience will be advantagous.
• Experience in Learning and Development activities will be an added advantage.
• Experience in managing a team would be an added advantage.

• Code 08 Drivers Licence and own reliable vehicle as regular regional travel to clients will be required for at least 2 weeks of the month (non-negotiable).
• Clear credit record as your personal credit card will be required to hire vehicles when air travel is used, and the associated travel expenses will be claimable (non-negotiable).
• Fluent in English (Written as well as Verbal communication).
• Proficient on the Microsoft Office suite
• Advanced skills on Microsoft Excel (such as pivot tables).
• Knowledge of Google Drive will be an added advantage.
• Strong administrative skills and abilities.
• Work under pressure and meet deadlines given
• Assessor registration with FoodBevSETA and or MerSETA would be advantagous.
