Tranport Coordinator
Job Description
Essence of the job:The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the availability of vehicles, plant, parts, and drivers to meet specified delivery schedules, ensuring timely transport and logistics arrangements. They will also maintain accurate records related to vehicle costs, driver travel times, and other relevant information. Additionally, the candidate will manage the licensing of vehicles in compliance with the and ensure equipment certification in accordance with the Mine Health and Safety Act and the Labour Relations Act of South Africa.Qualification:Matric/Grade 12Minimum Requirements:5 years' Experience in Construction Transportation and LogisticsCode 10/11/14 Driver's License and PDPOwn reliable transport to Head OfficeAbility to use MS Outlook, Word, Excel effectivelyUnderstanding of Logistical SystemsAdministrative AbilityStrong Communication SkillsCapacity for AutonomyKnowledge of various types of Plant used in the industryStrong Interpersonal SkillsHandling ConflictKnowledge of Road Laws, Traffic Regulations and AdministrationKnowledge of Plant, Operator and Transport Certification
