Transport Controller - KZNFull job descriptionJob Summary:Our client in Logisitics and distribution is seeking a highly organized and experienced Transport Controller to join our team at the Phoenix Industrial Park Head Office.Key Responsibilities:Monitor trucks, driver, diesel and PODsForward planning for maintenance of trucksMust have Mechanical insight into trucksVehicle Checklist/inspectionTracking of truckCompletion of job cardsCapture loadsProvide diesel slipsBook trucks loadsMonitor delivery to ensure on timeComplete delivery documentsLog break-downsTyre InspectionsQualifications:Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Transport Controller role, preferably within a logistics or transportation environmentC -Track System knowledgeExperience in mechanical knowledge on trucksExperience in planning for maintenance of trucksPlease note that due to the nature of the industry, it is expected to receive calls from our logistics partners after normal working hours from time to time.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentPay: R8 000,00 - R12 000,00 per monthEducation:Diploma (Preferred)Experience:Transport controller: 3 years (Required)Location:Phoenix, KwaZulu-Natal (Required)
