The company currently seeks an appropriately qualified candidate for the Transport Controller in the Western Cape region: Role Purpose: Responsible for the planning, controlling, and coordination of the movement of goods and materials within an organization. The Transport controller is responsible for ensuring that goods are delivered on time, in the correct quantities, and in a safe and cost-effective manner. The Transport controller also oversees the organization's inventory and purchasing of required materials. Skills, Knowledge and Proficiency: Good problem-solving skills. Good computer skills. Good time management skills. Good people skills. Knowledge of the Traffic Act and permit applications Valid driver's license Duties and Responsibilities: The duty is to ensure that the company's transportation and storage solutions are effective and efficient. The logistics controller ensures that goods are delivered on time, in the correct condition, and at the correct cost. The logistics controller also oversees the company's inventory procurement and transport personnel.
