Job Description

The Transport Manager is responsible for managing, planning and coordinating Transport operations, which includes loading, delivery and driver management.The Key Functional responsibilities of the Transport Manager includes but is not limited to:Financial Responsibility:xc2xb7 To ensure that all cost incurred is maintained within budget.xc2xb7 Present and report monthly financials.Operational:xc2xb7 Delivery Schedule Management to ensure effective and efficient execution of all deliveries.xc2xb7 Do route management for optimization and do tracking of vehicles and deliveries according to schedules.Personal Skills and Competencies Required:

Computer Literacy Requiredxc2xb7 MS Office ( PowerPoint, Projects, Word, Outlook)xc2xb7 Advanced MS Excel Skillsxc2xb7 Advanced System Skills capabilities - with the ability to learn new systems quickly.Minimum Requirements:

• 5-7 years experience required in Transport

• Grade 12 is compulsory with Relevant Tertiary Diploma, Degree or, Honors Degree in and Transportation Management or similar

• Good Warehousing & Distribution, Transport, , QRS Management. Union Experience as well as knowledge of the NBCRFLI required.

• Intermediate to advanced Computer literacy MS Excel, Outlook PowerPoint, Advanced (WMS) Skills and GP skills
