Transport Operations Controller - DurbdanJOB VACANCY - TRANSPORT OPERATIONS CONTROLLERCOMPANY - FRANSEND FREIGHT LOGISTICSJOB DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS:-We seek a well matured individual who is focused and reliant.Individual must have a drivers license and also be computer literate.Individual must have a minimum of 5 years transport controlling experience.Individual should have advanced knowledge of the below:-xc2xb7 Tri Axlesxc2xb7 Flatbedsxc2xb7 Superlinksxc2xb7 TautlinersIndividual should have knowledge and be able to plan loads. This pertains to container as well as break bulk loads.Must have port knowledge - be able to understand and utilize the Navis booking systems - understand and be able to handle import and exports - have knowledge on container depots as well as understand and effect deliveries in accordance to stack dates.Individual must be able to communicate and liaise well with clients. They must have advanced driver communication skills - be able to brief and debrief drivers. Ensure all driver documentation etc collected timeously after each trip.
