Engineer - Transportation Planning - Shape the Future of InfrastructureAre you a passionate and experienced Transportation Planning Engineer looking to make a real-world impact? Our client is seeking a skilled engineer to undertake specialized analysis and develop traffic/transportation designs for a diverse range of infrastructure projects. This role can be based in Cape Town, or Centurion, South Africa.What You Will Do:
- Contribute to the development of technical proposals.
- Develop designs by gathering, correlating, and analyzing engineering data using computer software and established procedures and standards.
- Collect and analyze information from discipline and interdisciplinary project models.
- Develop design content by applying design and technical knowledge to ensure high-quality outputs within project timelines.
- 4+ years of post-qualification experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor's or Master of Science or Engineering from an accredited university (Master's advantageous).
- Registered as a Candidate Engineer with ECSA (Pr.Eng or Pr.Tech Advantageous).
- Proven experience in transportation planning studies, traffic analysis and modeling, and the design of transportation and traffic infrastructure.
- Familiarity with transport modeling software (e.g., PTV, SIDRA, Synchro) and GIS
