Job Description


Responsibilities:

  • Identify, Pursue, and Close Sales Opportunities:
  • Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities for our clientxe2x80x99s range of products and solutions. Utilize data-driven strategies and market insights to prioritize leads and close deals effectively.
  • Develop and Implement Strategic Sales Plans:
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets within assigned regions. Continuously evaluate and adjust strategies based on market dynamics and customer feedback.
  • Conduct Market Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential clients, understand their requirements, and tailor solutions to meet their specific needs. Utilize industry knowledge and insights to position our clientxe2x80x99s offerings effectively.
  • Build and Maintain Strong Customer Relationships:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, acting as a trusted advisor on our clientxe2x80x99s product offering. Implement robust follow-up strategies to nurture leads and ensure customer satisfaction post-sale.
  • Provide Technical Expertise and Guidance:
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to customers, explaining product features, benefits, and technical specifications. Address customer inquiries and concerns effectively to instil confidence in our clientxe2x80x99s solutions.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams:
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including manufacturing, projects team, and sales support, to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction. Communicate customer requirements and feedback to relevant teams for continuous improvement.
  • Deliver Compelling Presentations and Proposals:
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and quotations to customers, highlighting the unique value proposition of our clientxe2x80x99s products and services. Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage customers effectively.
  • Stay Updated on Industry Trends:
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape to effectively position our clientxe2x80x99s offerings and identify new business opportunities. Participate in training programs and industry events to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Participate in Industry Events:
  • Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote our clientxe2x80x99s brand and expand our clientxe2x80x99s customer base. Actively engage with attendees and represent the company professionally at all times.
  • Maintain Accurate Sales Records:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, forecasts, and sales reports. Track progress against sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIxe2x80x99s) to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
Skills Requirements:
  • National Diploma, Certificate in any Marketing related qualification
  • 3 + years of technical sales experience is essential, preferably within the refrigeration, air conditioning, or bakery industries
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Demonstrate proficiency in client relationship management, both with corporate clients and individual stakeholders. Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through effective communication and personalized service.
  • Project Management:
  • Possess strong project management skills to coordinate sales efforts, manage customer expectations, and ensure timely project delivery. Prioritize tasks effectively and multitask to meet deadlines and objectives.
  • Sales and Key Account Management:
  • Exhibit a proven track record of success in sales and key account management, preferably within the refrigeration industry. Implement strategic account plans to maximize revenue opportunities and foster customer loyalty.
  • Technical Knowledge:
  • Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, and related equipment. Articulate product features and benefits clearly to address customer needs and overcome objections.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions. Adapt communication style to different audiences and situations.
  • Business Acumen:
  • Exhibit strong business acumen and understanding of sales processes, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals. Identify opportunities for revenue growth and contribute to strategic decision-making.
  • Result Orientation:
  • Be self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Set challenging goals and take proactive measures to achieve them, demonstrating resilience and persistence in the face of challenges.
  • Willingness to Travel:
  • Must have own reliable vehicle.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events. Manage travel arrangements efficiently and represent the company professionally while on the road
Remuneration and reward:Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Additionally, our client offers a petrol card for travel and cell phone allowance of R1500.
