We are seeking an experienced and reliable Code 14 driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Code 14 driverxe2x80x99s license and have extensive experience operating heavy trucks and they will be based in Gauteng.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES1. Vehicle Operationxc2xb7 Safely operate heavy motor vehicles, including trucks and trailers, ensuring all legal and safety requirements are met.2. Transport Dutiesxc2xb7 Deliver goods and materials to specified destinations as scheduled, maintaining timely and accurate delivery.3. Vehicle Maintenancexc2xb7 Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on the vehicle before and after trips. Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the maintenance team promptly.4. Loading and Unloadingxc2xb7 Ensure that goods are correctly loaded and secured to prevent damage during transit. Assist with the loading and unloading process as needed.5. Record Keepingxc2xb7 Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, delivery times, and any incidents or delays encountered during trips.6. Compliancexc2xb7 Adhere to all traffic laws and company regulations, including road safety and environmental policies.7. Customer Interactionxc2xb7 Provide excellent customer service, addressing any delivery-related issues or concerns professionally.8.
