Post matric qualification in finance or accounting.
Postgraduate qualification in business administration is an added advantage.
4 years minimum experience in Agriculture environment/sugarcane farming.
High impact communication, proficient in IsiZulu.
Continuous Improvement mindset and desire for advancement and growth.
Understanding the functions of the Mill Group Board.
Understanding the SSG (Small Scale Growers) grower structure.
Good time keeping and attendance.
Valid drivers license.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
KEY FOCUS AREAS
The individual is responsible for setting up at least four annual SSGT (Small Scale Growers) meetings, following the Board meetings, with the SSGT's (Small Scale Growers)
Attend all Mill Group Board meetings, including monthly in-season and ad hoc meetings, and set up and manage administration for minimum monthly meetings with SSG (Small Scale Growers) Zone Chairpersons.
Provide feedback from Board, AGM, Mill Group Board, and Cane Supply Department to small-scale growers through Zone structures, and vice versa.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of cane yield estimates to the Mill Group Board and the administration associated with Beneficiaries.
Enhance efficiency by establishing infield harvesting and zone to mill transport groups, utilizing practical and cost-effective technology solutions.
Assist in good governance of SSGT (Small Scale Growers) accounts, budgets, expenditure, audits, beneficiary applications, resignations, administration, and compilation of Annual Financial Statements.
Compile an annual budget for the direct costs of the SSGT (Small Scale Growers) Administrator cost code, oversee the expenditure thereof as appropriate and report quarterly to the Finance department.
