Job SummaryHire Resolve is currently looking for a skilled and experienced Turner to join our client's team in Epping. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating machine tools to produce precision metal parts and components. This is a 6-month contract starting July 1st - December 16th.Responsibilities

• Study blueprints, specifications, and work orders to determine the machining operations needed
• Select and set up machine tools, such as lathes and milling machines, to perform the required machining operations
• Measure, examine, and test completed parts to ensure they meet the required specifications
• Inspect and maintain the machine tools and equipment used
• Collaborate with engineers, production personnel, and other team members to ensure smooth operations and high-quality output
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:

• Conventional turning to tolerance of 0.05mm
• Proven experience as a Turner or in a similar role
• Proficiency in operating machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Strong knowledge of machining processes and materials
• Attention to detail and precision in work
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Trade certification or relevant qualification in turning or machining

Benefits:

• Salary negotiable - Up to R120 per hour based on accuracy and efficiency.
• 40 hours a week, no overtime
