Job Description
About Us: Our initiative dedicated to enhancing literacy skills among young learners is looking for passionate and dedicated Newly Qualified Teachers to join our team as Literacy Tutors. In this role, you will work with young learners in the Foundation Phase to develop their literacy skills through interactive and engaging lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver structured literacy lessons to small groups of students.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with fellow educators and program coordinators to enhance teaching strategies.
Encourage a love of reading and writing in students.
Qualifications:
A recently obtained teaching qualification, preferably in Foundation Phase education.
A passion for teaching and a strong understanding of literacy development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage and motivate young learners.
