You will play a strategic role in driving sales growth and strengthening relationships within the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector. The Incumbent must be able to lead marketing initiatives, participate in events and foster team development, as well as ensuring seamless administration and compliance with tender processes.Role ResponsibilitiesDrive revenue growth through proactive sales strategies, monitor market trends, and ensure seamless execution of sales and distribution operations.Manage the TVET sales team, work closely with the national sales, marketing, distribution and publishing teams, chair marketing meetings, and coordinate training for sales and customer service teams.Liaise with the Department of Higher Education, handle escalated customer queries, represent the company at PASA TVET committee meetings, maintain key client relationships, and attend industry events.Prepare, manage and review budgets, approve publishing investment, manage high-value customer debt, assist with price adjustments, and participate in group sales meetings.Approve costs for marketing expenses, review marketing content before release, lead webinars and workshops, and oversee the production of promotional materials.Authorize returns, sign tender documents, approve expenses, review customer quotes, and ensure accurate ERP data management.Experience, Skills & QualificationsMatric CertificateBachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (Advantageous)Minimum 57 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development, preferably within the education, publishing, or TVET sector.Experience working with government departments, educational institutions, or regulatory bodies.Strong background in financial management, sales strategy, and customer service.Proven track record of successfully managing key accounts and high-value customer relationships.Proficiency in ERP systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office SuiteApplications: Interested candidates should submit their CV and a covering letter detailing their interest in the position.If you have not been contacted within a two-week period of the closing date, please consider your application unsuccessful.NB: In respect of our EE and DEI policies suitable candidates with disabilities are encouraged to apply.At Springer Nature, we value the diversity of our teams and work to build an inclusive culture, where people are treated fairly and can bring their differences to work and thrive.
