Job Description
To ensure that the administrative functions related to tyre purchase, repair and disposal are correctly carried out.
Key Responsibility Areas
- Prepare requisition to draw tyres from store for Foremans authorisation.
- Maintain records of vehicle make and relevant tyre size current.
- Draw up tyre/tube requisitions for supply from MMD stores or external.
- Process costing schedule for tyres/tubes prior to data capture clerk function.
- Make out tyre/tube job cards for cars and trucks depot.
- Update job cards with supplier invoice information prior data capture function.
- Issue work schedule for tyre fitters.
- Liaise with Foreman regarding need for tyre/tube stock replenishment.
- Liaise with customers to confirm vehicles is available for tyre/tube servicing.

- 3 months experience in knowledge of tyres.
