Job Description

Role Overview:

As a Software Tester, you will play a crucial role in validating and verifying our software products. You will work closely with our developers to identify, document, and resolve defects, ensuring that our software solutions are reliable, functional, and user-friendly.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements and design specifications. Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on various software applications. Identify, document, and track defects using a bug-tracking system. Collaborate with developers and other team members to understand requirements and provide feedback on software usability and functionality. Review and analyze system specifications to ensure comprehensive testing coverage. Perform exploratory testing and provide recommendations for improvements. Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Proven experience in software testing or quality assurance, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and tools. Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with automated testing tools and scripting languages. Knowledge of programming languages and database querying. Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
The interview process consists of 2 phases:

- Introductory Interview

- Final Interview and possible placement

This position does not offer remote working solutions and all candidates are expected to perform their duties from the premises specified .

The position is offered with a 3 month probation period from the start date of employment specified (should the candidate successfully be recruited by our Company).
