Job Description


Minimum requirements for the role:

  • Must have a bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in agriculture, mechatronics, or related field, with a focus on drones, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in technical support or a similar role
  • Must have a completed Remote Pilot License (RPL) with proven flight experience
  • Experience in customer technical training with strong presentation skills are essential
  • Passion for the commercial agricultural drone market
  • Must have a valid driverxe2x80x99s license and be willing to travel up to 50% of the time, locally and internationally
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be required
  • Must have strong technical expertise combined with a commercial aptitude
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Overseeing and executing drone service and repair strategies in KwaZulu-Natal while collaborating with agricultural drone customers and contractors.
  • Developing and managing service and support documentation for third-party service providers, ensuring high-quality post-sale service.
  • Maintaining technical relationships with business partners, providing training and necessary parts for optimal service.
  • Leading demonstration days and training sessions as a licensed Remote Pilot (RPL), offering ongoing support in the region.
  • Becoming a product expert, showcasing the benefits of drones and assisting with sales.
  • Identifying opportunities, following up with customers, and driving the planning and execution of demonstration days.
