Job Summary Description:
Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced and skilled Underground Fitter to join their mining team based in North-West.Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on underground mining equipment such as crushers, conveyor systems, drills, and loaders.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and breakdowns in a timely manner.
- Install new equipment and machinery according to manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members and mine operators to effectively carry out repairs and maintenance activities.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance work performed and equipment inspections.
- Grade 12
- Fitter Trade Test Certificate
- Extensive underground mining experience
- Valid driver's license
- Salary: Negotiable
- Paid Time Off (PTO) (If Applicable)
