Job Summary Our client is on the lookout for an Underwriter: Personal Lines who will assist advisors in managing personal lines insurance policies, from initial underwriting through to policy renewals. Key Responsibilities: Manage the personal lines underwriting process from start to finish. Prepare for policy renewals. Communicate with clients and advisers. Prepare and provide quotations. Issue new policies, renewals, and endorsements. Maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. Record and maintain detailed information in relevant systems. Requirements: Grade 12 qualification. NQF 4 Certificate in Short-Term Insurance (advantageous). RE5 Certificate (advantageous). Minimum of 3 years experience in personal lines underwriting. Competencies: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent administrative skills. Effective planning and organizing abilities. Good time management skills. Resilience and good stress tolerance. High client focus with strong interpersonal skills.
