• B. Cur/Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery
• Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
• Post-basic qualification in Child Nursing Science
• Bcur ED Admin qualification
• BLS certification (mandatory)
• Further Business Management qualification (advantageous)
• Updated ACLS/PALS/ATLS certification (advantageous)
• 3+ yearsxe2x80x99 managerial or supervisory experience
• Computer literacy

• Ensure compliance with SANC, Department of Health (DOH), and National Core Standards.
• Promote quality patient care through efficient unit management and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Manage ward administration, ensuring a safe and compliant patient environment.
• Oversee cost centre activities, including stock control, equipment management, and resource allocation.
• Supervise staff and agency personnel, implementing quality improvement initiatives where necessary.
