Unit Trust Administrator
Job Description
An established Investment Management company, who pride themselves in providing their clients with the exceptional investment and financial planning services, seek a Unit Trust Administrator to join them. This role is responsible for in-house unit trust values and pricing, accurate recons, effective running of unit trust funds and other related tasks. If you have an accounting qualification and previous unit trust pricing and administration experience, then we want to hear from you! Lovely, Southern Suburbs based, established and growing team.Responsibilities:
- Value and price in-house unit trusts
- Accurate and timely bank, portfolio and scrip reconciliations
- Report to ManCo on a monthly basis
- Put together monthly performance figures and factsheets
- Calculate and control income distributions to unit holders
- Manage check custody and brokerage accounts
- Correlate and complete fund switches
- Manage Settlement of trades
- Prepare monthly fund accounting records
- Prepare Financial year-end audit pack
- Prepare daily portfolio compliance reports
- Minimum of a completed tertiary qualification BCom (Accounting) or similar, with a preference to candidates with Honours in Portfolio Analysis and Financial Analysis
- Previous unit trust administration experience, previous experience of unit trust pricing preferred
- Computer literate with advanced MS Excel skills
- Accurate and deadline oriented
- Good team player
