Job Description
A leading UPS supplier in Cape Town seeks an experienced UPS Technician for installation, maintenance, and repairs of UPS and battery backup systems.Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of UPS systems
- Fault finding and repair skills
- Ability to read electrical drawings
- Customer-oriented mindset
- Effective multitasking and prioritization
- Independent work ability
- Adaptability to changing environments
- Excellent communication skills
- Service excellence commitment
- Service UPS and battery systems on-site
- Produce detailed service reports
- Diagnose and repair UPS faults
- Install and commission new UPS systems (10-400 kVA)
- Perform battery replacements
- Provide technical phone support
- Attend after-hours callouts
- Support Sales with site visits and equipment selection
- 8+ years as a UPS Technician
- National N6 Diploma and trade test in Electrical Engineering (Light Current/Electronics)
- Advanced computer literacy
- Valid Code B driverxe2x80x99s license
- Physically fit for large installations and replacements
- Experience in small project implementation
