In user experience design at PwC, you will focus on the process of creating and enhancing the overall experience that users have when interacting with a product, system, or service.

Analyse and identify the linkages and interactions between the component parts of an entire system. Take ownership of projects, ensuring their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion. Effectively mentor others. Use the review of work as an opportunity to deepen the expertise of team members. Overview



As a UX Copywriter, you will shape the language users interact with, ensuring clarity, consistency, and ease of use across digital experiences. You'll collaborate closely with UX/UI Designers, Service Designers, and product teams to craft microcopy, onboarding flows, tooltips, error messages, and other key touchpoints--transforming complex interactions into intuitive experiences.


Beyond writing, you'll play a strategic role in content design--driving consistency across product squads, ensuring accessibility compliance, and championing user-first language that reduces friction and enhances usability. Your work will strengthen brand trust and make every digital interaction seamless.


Core Areas of Impact

1. Writing & Structuring Content for Digital Experiences



Craft clear, concise, and action-driven microcopy for elements and components including but not limited to buttons, tooltips, and system messages. Design user-friendly onboarding flows and instructional content that guide users effortlessly. Write error messages and alerts that are helpful, not frustrating, reducing confusion.

2. Ensuring Consistency & Accessibility Across the App



Maintain a consistent tone of voice, terminology, and language patterns across all product squads. Ensure content meets accessibility standards and is easy to understand for diverse users. Collaborate with Service Designers and UX/UI Designers to align copy with broader experience flows. Maintain brand consistency across all written content.

3. Content Strategy & Cross-Team Collaboration



Develop content frameworks, style guides, and reusable language components to ensure consistency. Work within Agile squads, contributing to backlog grooming, sprint planning, and design critiques. Advocate for plain language, user-first messaging, and readability improvements across the product.

Key Responsibilities



Write and refine UX copy that enhances usability, clarity, and brand alignment. Develop content frameworks that standardise language usage across the app. Collaborate with designers and researchers to validate copy through user testing. Ensure accessibility compliance, making content inclusive and easy to understand. Iterate on content based on user feedback and analytics insights. Ensure all written content aligns with the brand's voice and guidelines.

Key Skills & Experience



Proven UX writing skills, with experience in microcopy, interaction flows, and content design. Strong understanding of accessibility best practices and plain language principles. Experience working within Agile teams alongside designers and developers. Ability to simplify complex ideas into clear, engaging content. Familiarity with UX tools like Figma, Miro, or other collaborative platforms is a plus.
