Your Role at impact.com:

We're looking for a UX Design Intern to join our team and help enhance the user experience of our platform. This six month internship offers hands-on experience in user research, wireframing, prototyping, and UI design, along with mentorship and professional development opportunities.

What You'll Do:

Conduct user research through surveys and usability tests to understand user needs. Assist in designing wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for new features. Support usability testing, including organizing tests, recording insights, and reporting findings. Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to create effective design solutions. Work effectively within the impact.com design system. Stay updated on UX best practices to bring fresh ideas and improvements. Translate UX Design briefs into functional, user centered solutions that solve business objectives.

What You Have:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field / experience. A portfolio showcasing design projects is required. Proficiency in Figma and other design tools. Understanding of user-centered design principles and UX methodologies. Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and user flow diagrams. Experience with user research and usability testing. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes is a plus.

As this is a hybrid role, it is important to note that the successful candidate has a secure, quiet space to work from at home, with a stable, fast internet connection.
