Job Description
This multi-divisional services entity is looking for a VAT Specialist to drive change and growth in the group. This opportunity is your chance to add value and be part of major decision making in the entity. This company is a global leader in cross-boarder tax and compliance services, operating on all major continents. This company consists of several small to large entities, each with their individual finance teams, which the incumbent will be tasked with managing (from the centralised office in Johannesburg, Gauteng). The incumbent must be comfortable with an environment that is ever changing. This vacancy is open for remote working, reporting into the head office in Gauteng.:
- VAT returns
- VAT calculations
- Tax planning and strategies
- Financial reporting
- Dealing with tax returns
- Dealing with SARS
- SAIT or SAICA accreditation is essential
- Postgraduate degree in Taxation is essential
- 0 to 5 years experience in corporate and international tax is essential
- EU VAT experience is essential
- EU language (Portuguese, German, or Spanish etc.) is highly beneficial
