Introduction:
I have a fully remote opportunity for an experienced Developer at a specialist Insurance, Reinsurance, Life and Pensions company that caters for Global Markets.

• Work on a Reinsurance System for clients based in London.
• Cater for high-risk lines such as shipping fleets, aircraft, ports, oil companies.
• Build hugely complex systems.
• VB.Net, SQL, .Net, Visual Studio.

Salary:
R80k p.mMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• BSc degree (Or Similar) in Computer Science or relevant field.
• Good understanding of scrum and agile practices.
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.

EXPERIENCE:

• Conversion and full application re-write experience advantageous.
• Relevant Domain experience, Life Insurance, Reinsurance Systems, Underwriting systems advantageous.
• VB.Net.
• Visual Studio.
• SQL Server.
• Full SDLC Experience.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:

• Proficient in use of Visual Studio 2015.
• Development, operation and maintenance of .NET and SQL Server (2012/16).
• VB.Net.
• Ability to interface .NET development with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, Adobe professional form and Outlook.
• Experienced with all phases of designing, coding, and testing applications.
• Committed to continuously acquiring new skills and knowledge, as well as staying current with new technological developments.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills needed.
