Key Responsibilities

• VDI Infrastructure Design:

• Design and architect VDI environments based on business requirements and industry best practices.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation for VDI infrastructure components and processes.
• Evaluate and select appropriate hardware, software, and networking components for VDI deployments.
• VDI Implementation:

• Deploy and configure VDI infrastructure components, including hypervisors, virtual machines, and desktop operating systems.
• Integrate VDI with existing IT infrastructure, such as Active Directory, network storage, and load balancers.
• Perform system testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and stability.
• VDI Management and Optimization:

• Monitor and manage VDI performance, including CPU, memory, storage, and network utilization.
• Identify and resolve VDI performance issues and bottlenecks.
• Implement optimization strategies to improve VDI scalability and user experience.
• VDI Security:

• Ensure the security of the VDI environment by implementing appropriate security measures, such as access controls, encryption, and vulnerability management.
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• VDI Support:

• Provide technical support for VDI users and applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve VDI-related issues.
• Develop and maintain knowledge base articles and documentation.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in VDI infrastructure design, implementation, and management.
• Strong understanding of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Citrix, Hyper-V).
• Knowledge of network infrastructure, including routing, switching, and load balancing.
• Experience with desktop operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux).
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certification in VDI technologies (e.g., VMware Certified Professional - Desktop Virtualization, Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization) is preferred.

• Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of VDI technologies, network infrastructure, and virtualization platforms.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
