What Youll Be Doing:

• Keep things running smoothly Maintain and operate our global BMW Digital Workspace infrastructure for virtual devices.
• Be a game-changer Work on automation and proactive monitoring to boost operational excellence.
• Collaborate globally Engage with international product teams, external providers, vendors, and end-users.
• Security-first mindset Treat security as a top priority and integrate it into everything you do.
• Standardization & maintenance Ensure operational stability, standardize processes, and continuously improve the platform.
• Tech wizardry Install, configure, maintain, and deploy virtual apps, desktop images, RDSH servers, and more!

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

• Azure Monitoring Tools and Azure Networking expertise.
• VMWare Horizon Cloud (preferably Next Gen) and VMWare Intelligence/Freestyle.
• PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Experience with Windows Server (2016+) and Windows 10/11 troubleshooting & patch management.
• Citrix Xen-Desktop & Xen-App (7.x+), Citrix NetScaler (12.x+), Citrix XenServer (7.x+), and VMWare ESXi (6.x+).
• Expertise in Active Directory, GPO, ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management).
• Experience with monitoring tools (Aternity, SCOM, Azure, Nagios, Dynatrace, etc.).
• Solid background in data-driven monitoring & analytics.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with cloud providers (Azure, AWS) and Microsoft 365.
• Automated problem remediation and Machine Learning (ML) for data analytics.
• Network troubleshooting & REST API knowledge.

What We Need From You:

• A university degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of operations experience with Citrix VDI and App Stack.
• Expertise in Windows desktops, server support, Terminal Server, software packaging, and image creation.
• A solid understanding of ITIL processes and hardware/software lifecycle management.
