Job Description

An international Fleet Management Company seeks to employ a Vehicle Tracking/Fleet management Technician, to be stationed in their Cape Town office.
The ideal candidate should have experience in the Fleet/Telematics industry with a great willingness to learn.Key Responsibilities:

• Installations:

• Ensure installations are done according to company standards and policies.
• Strive to give the best service and in a timely fashion.
• All jobs get tested and completed before closing of job card.
• Quality Control:

• Ensure constant adherence to quality as well as to identify and report quality concerns with regards to installations and workmanship.
• Customer Care:

• Liaising with clients on site in a professional manner.
• Conduct yourself in a manner that represents the company ethos.
• Technical Support:

• Excellent knowledge of hardware diagrams and understanding of automotive electronics
• Be able to make changes in the field based on requirements
• Administrative duties

• Complete Job cards in detail and close it in a timely fashion.
• Communicate with coordinating team on updates, challenges.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Matric or Technical Equivalent.
• National Technical Certificate in Automotive Electronics/Motor Mechanic would be advantageous
• Must have good knowledge of vehicle electrical systems
• Must have minimum of 3 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in installations with regards to vehicle tracking and fleet management products in various vehicle and asset types.
• No criminal records.
• Must have good working track record.
• Medically fit as you will be required to travel and work in the mining industry.
• Must be prepared to work after hours and weekends.
• Must have valid driverxe2x80x99s licence.
• Computer literate
