Job Description
An international fleet management company is seeking a Vehicle Tracking/Fleet Management Technician to join their team.Responsibilities:
- Installations:
- Ensure installations are done according to company standards and policies.
- Stive to give the best service and in a timely fashion.
- All jobs get tested and completed before closing of job card.
- Quality Control:
- Ensure constant adherence to quality as well as to identify and report quality concerns
- with regards to installations and workmanship.
- Customer Care:
- Liaising with clients on site in a professional manner.
- Conduct yourself in a manner that represents the company ethos.
- Technical Support:
- Excellent knowledge of hardware diagrams and understanding of automotive electronics
- Be able to make changes in the field based on requirements
- Administrative duties
- Complete Job cards in detail and close it in a timely fashion.
- Communicate with coordinating team on updates, challenges.
- Matric certificate.
- National technical certificate in Automotive Electronics/Motor Mechanic would be advantageous.
- Must have knowledge of vehicle electrical systems.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in installations with regards to vehicle tracking and fleet management products in various vehicle and asset types.
- No criminal record.
- Medically fit as you will be required to travel and work in the mining industry.
- Must be prepared to work after hours and weekends.
- Must have valid drivers licence.
- Computer literate
